Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of Sabbath School (the “Service”), offered by Harold Buenaventura. By using the Service you accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
1. Accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- Accounts are created by invitation from an instructor or an administrator, and access may require their approval.
- You must provide accurate, current information and keep your credentials safe. You are responsible for activity under your account.
2. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for unlawful, abusive, fraudulent or misleading activities;
- attempt unauthorized access to systems, accounts or data;
- submit false attendance or impersonate another person;
- interfere with the operation or security of the Service;
- enter another person's data (for example, in Bible studies) without their knowledge and agreement.
3. Roles and permissions
Features and permissions depend on the role (student, instructor, administrator) and on any permissions an instructor delegates. We may add, modify, suspend or remove features as the Service evolves.
4. Your data
You keep your rights over your personal data. We process it as explained in the Privacy Policy.
5. Third-party services
The Service relies on providers such as Google Firebase, Cloudflare, Resend, Apple, Google and WhatsApp links. We are not responsible for their availability or their own policies.
6. Availability
We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. It may be affected by maintenance, updates, outages or technical failures.
7. Suspension and termination
We may suspend, restrict or terminate access if these Terms are violated or for legal, security or operational reasons. You may stop using the Service at any time and request deletion of your account (see “Delete your account”).
8. No warranties
To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from use of the Service. This does not limit rights granted to you by mandatory law, including consumer-protection rules.
10. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Argentine Republic. Any dispute will be submitted to the ordinary courts with jurisdiction in the City of Buenos Aires, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms. We will publish the new version on this page with its date. If the change is substantial, we will ask you to accept it again in the app. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means accepting it.
